Rock River Theater Company is...

Led by the artistic talents of Jim Tropp, well known throughout Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois for his consistent presentation of high-quality musical theatre.  Mr. Tropp has directed over 90 musicals in his 30-year career.  Some of his favorites include: RENT, WEST SIDE STORY, JEKYLL AND HYDE, MISS SAIGON, CABARET, INTO THE WOODS, and NEXT TO NORMAL.  In 2017 Jim was inducted into the United Arts Alliance Hall of Fame.  He has been awarded ten Tommy Awards from the Overture Center of the Performing Arts for his outstanding direction and production of area high school musicals.
